In the document women argue for many different things. One thing they have fought for was being equally treated like men that has not gone all the way through. Women are still not equal to men because they wont get hired for certain jobs. One thing that they fought for and got was the right to vote. Women had no rights and weren't able to vote to change those rights.

Both Elizabeth Cady and Susan B. Anthony in The Sencea Falls Declaration discuss about the grievances that women needed to be equal as men. All the grievances have been addressed like “He has never permitted her to exercise her inalienable right to elective franchise” (57) ,so women can have the right to vote and it was passed. The laws for women have given the equality they needed to be equal as men. In today’s society women have the right to go get a higher education, get a job to support her family, and most important can be independent. Overall, the laws have been recognizing around United States to show that women have freedom and independences as well.

Many grievances from the 1960s have been addressed; however, some have not. Women today definitely have more rights than women from the past. A grievance that i believe has not been addressed would be, equality between men and woman. There are careers that are considered to be "men" jobs, and others that are considered "woman" jobs. Some may say women can't do men jobs, although women can do anything men can do!! Laws should be equal for men and women, and not be judged or considered by gender.

Many grievances that have not been addressed, woman would say, the quality in the workforce and the pay they revive. Grievances that have been addressed would be the equality to vote, schooling, and the freedom to leave their homes. Some of the law has recognized women as equals, but there are those that still don’t believe woman should be equal. If all people where created equal woman should be as equal as a man. So women should receive all the grieves they ask for.

Many women in todays society are very fortunate to live the way they do. As woman we now have they right to vote, get a education, and a good paying job. Even though there are still some narrow minded individuals that believe woman should stay home and be house wives and many men believe in that and try to have their wives be house moms. But nonetheless over all women still have the freedom its up to them to pursue it.
