Now that you've completed reading Octavian Nothing, write the "next chapter" to Octavian's life. Do Dr. Trefusis and Octavian escape the noose? Where does he go; what does he do? Write a 5-7 sentence paragraph ending this novel. Then end with your favorite quote with a brief explanation (a sentence or two) of why you selected it.

Octavian and Dr. Trefusis escape and meet back up with Private Goring. After they meet back up Goring, Trefusis, and Octavian help win the war and Goring goes back to his family, and Trefusis and Octavian meet women and start a family. But during they are at war they find Bono who ends up dying in battle. Also my favorite quote is by Bono when he says, “That will be the last time in your life when you are free” (40). This is the time when he tells Octavian that he is becoming a slave and that he will never feel free again.

After Dr. Trefusis and Octavian purposely killed the infamous Mr. Sharpe and Mr. Gitney, they escaped to the far away land of freedom!! There their old friend Bono awaited their arrival to celebrate the death of the evil scientists. Bono and Octavian eventually found wives and had perfect little families. Dr. Trefusis continued teaching and stayed by Bono and Octavian's side until one day when Dr. Trefusis accidentally fell and unfortunately died. Bono and Octavian were heart broken, but they lived on to tell their interesting story. Octavian made sure his child lived the life of a Prince, while his wife was treated as a Queen!! :)

After Octavian begins being treated as a real slave, Bono says to him "Miscreants got to hang together. Do wrong for me so i can do more wrong for you." This is one of my favorite quotes because it shows how Bono sincerely cared for his kind.

Dr. Trefusis and Octavian escape after Mr. Sharpe and Mr. Gitney died by being poison. They wonder off in the north states of America and eventually settle in the state of New York were Octavian becomes a free slave and Mr. Gitney acts as he owns Octavian that way people won’t bother Octavian because he is black. My favorite quote from the novel The Astonashing Life of Octavian Nothing is "Hosiah Lister, now dead, rec'd his freedom" (330). This quote means alot to me because it is true that people come to this world to suffer pain and when someone dies they are free and could rest in peace.

In The Astonishing Life Of Octavian Notheing Dr. Trefusis and Octavian leave to Boston, "Together, we fled across the bay towards the lightof the beleaguered city" (353). After arriving in Boston Dr. Trefusis lets Octavian go free and lbegin a new life in Boston. At first Octavian didn't know what to do with his life sence he had be inslaved for most of it, but then he decited he would go to school to persue his life long love and become a music teacher. When the University of Boston heard his story and found out that he is a prince they offered to pay for his schooling and house and bording. Well in school he found a young lady who had the same interest as him and they got married had a little girl who he named after his mother. Then he finished school and he became a music perfessor at one of the greatest schools in Boston.

Dr. Trefusis and Octavian escaped from the evil Mr. Sharpe and confused Mr. Gitney. While heading into the city Octavian noticed that Bono was awaiting their arrival. He then realized that Dr. Trefusis had helped Bono escape from his home too, so that they could all meet up, and live the life that they deserve. In the process of starting a new life they heard news of slaves being freed. In learning the slaves were freed Octavian and Bono became the happiest in their journey. When Octavian was still at the College of Lucity he went to the stone and found that Bono had left him a gift and knew he had to use the gif to his benefit “Still, it was a gift from he whom I worshipped most in the world; and I determined that my mother and I should benefit from it” (208).

In the book The Astonishing Life of Octavian Nothing by M.T Anderson, Anderson concludes his book with an exciting turn of events. The protagonist Octavian Nothing is at an all time low when he gets cought by Mr. Gittney and Mr. Sharp. when being while Octavian is being tortured Dr. Tryfousis gives the men tea that is toxic. When they escape Octavian and Dr. Tryfusis head to Boston. After arriving to Boston Octavian and Dr Tryfousis start up an aliance with the revolutionaried to fight for the freedom of his African American people, Bono becomes the founds the National Accosation for the Advancment of Colored People. my favorite Quote of the book is "I missed my studies with Dr. Tryfeusis" (143). I choose this quote because it show how Octavian was blinded, and not looking at the bigger picture he was a slave.

In The Astonishing Life of Octavian Nothing, M.T. Anderson states that both Octavian and Dr. Trefusis left to a new home at Boston: "Together, we fled across the bay towards the lights of the beleagured" (353). Therefore, living in Boston for two years, both of them build a school for anyone in the world to get there education for free. Dr. Trefusis was teaching math, science, and English to the students and Octavian was teaching Lation, Greek, and Music. One day, Bono went to the Boston to find Octavian and Dr. Trefusis and he did find them in thier school. Octavian and Dr. Trefusis offer Bono a jod to be a teacher as well. Therefore, all three of them become good friends and teachers to the students.
